William F. Jung
Hon. William F. Jung is a U.S. District Court Judge for the Middle District of Florida in Tampa. He was nominated to the court by President Donald Trump on Dec. 21, 2017, and confirmed by the U.S. Senate on Sept. 6, 2018, by a voice vote. Judge Jung was previously nominated to the same federal judicial post in April 2016 by President Barack Obama. On Jan. 3, 2017, his nomination was returned to PresidentObama at the sine die adjournment of the 114th Congress. Prior to his 2018 judicial appointment, Jung was a partner at the Tampa, Fla.-based law firm of Jung and Sisco, P.A., which he co-founded in 1993.He received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in 1980 and his J.D. in 1983 from theUniversity of Illinois College of Law.
