Francis J. Nardozza
Francis J. Nardozza is chairman and CEO of REH Capital Partners, LLC in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., a national real estate and hospitality investment and advisory services firm. He has more than 44 years of diversified experience in real estate and hospitality investment, finance and consulting. Mr. Nardozza is recognized nationally and internationally for his work in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, investments and strategic advisory services within the real estate and hospitality industries, and he has advised on over $15 billion in real estate and hospitality transactions in his professional career. Prior to launch-ing REH in 2001, Mr. Nardozza was a partner and National and Global Real Estate and Hospitality Con-<br>sulting practice leader for KPMG, LLP and KPMG Consulting, Inc. for the first 25 years of his career.He also is the founding chair of the U.S. Lodging Industry Investment Council (LIIC), and he is a member of the Exec. Advisory Committee of the NYU Hotel Investment Conference and the Exec. PlanningBoard of the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS). In addition, he chairs the executive board of the FSU Real Estate Center, is a trustee of the FSU Real Estate Foundation, and is a member of the advisory board of the FSU Dedman College of Hospitality. In April 2013, Mr. Nardozza was inducted into the Florida State University College of Business Hall of Fame. He received his B.S. in accounting from Florida State University and completed the executive partner certificate program on international business at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.Patrick J. Potter is a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in its Insolvency & Restructuring Department. He focuses on providing clients with innovative and practical solutions to business problems in the real estate, health care and hospitality sectors. Mr. Potter has both a national and international practice, and regularly appears in the Eastern District of Virginia, where he has been a member of theVirginia State Bar since 1996. He has tried cases before judges in the Richmond, Alexandria, NewportNews and Norfolk Divisions since 1990. Mr. Potter handles primarily distressed real estate, health care and hospitality transactions, chapter 11 proceedings, restructurings, workouts and recovery efforts. His experience encompasses representing debtors and creditors in complex bankruptcy proceedings across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Mr. Potter’s clients include real estate and hospitality lenders and owners (including REITS), landlords and tenants, and medical and health care companies. He regularly representsCMBS borrowers as well as mezzanine (and other structurally subordinated) lenders, real estate lenders in workouts and chapter 11 proceedings. He also has international experience, including insolvency work in several MENA countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Yemen, Morocco and Tunisia.Mr. Potter received his B.A. in 1986 from Michigan State University and his J.D. in 1989 from the University of Michigan Law School.
