Helen Quick

Helen Quick is a managing director of Locust Point Capital Inc. in Washington, D.C., and has more than 25 years of legal experience in finance, venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, compliance and general corporate representation of emerging and growth-stage companies, with a strong focus on the health care sector. She has spent the last 19 years working with members of the management team as inside/outside counsel and team member, underwriting and structuring investments in the longterm care, seniors housing and health care service industries. Ms. Quick has participated in more than<br>300 health care acquisition and finance transactions, the majority of which have focused on the senior-housing and long-term-care industry and has served as transactional counsel for more than 100 clients in the health care industry. Prior to joining Locust Point, she was a partner in an Am-Law 100 law firm, a partner in boutique health care law firm and held associate positions in two top-tier law firms. She also served as the vice president of Business Development and was in-house counsel to two venture-backed technology companies. Ms. Quick serves on the national board of directors of Women in Venture and<br>Equity (WAVE), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing women in the venture-capital and<br>private-equity industries. She received her undergraduate degrees in economics and philosophy from the<br>University of Virginia and her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
