Adam G. Taub
Adam G. Taub is an attorney with Consumer Law Group PLC in Southfield, Mich., and has assisted thousands of consumers since 1998. His practice focuses on litigating consumer claims for noncom- pliance involving the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. In addition, he has litigated many cases involving Regulation Z and Regulation M, federal warranty law, federal odometer law, and various state financing laws. Mr. Taub served as counsel chair of the State Bar of Michigan's Consumer Law Section from 2009-10 and has served as a counsel member since 2001. He is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates. Mr. Taub is admitted to practice in Michigan and before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. He is also admitted to practice pro hac vice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Virginia and the Southern District of New York. Mr. Taub received his B.A. in English literature in 1987 from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn., and his J.D. in 1993 from Wayne State University.
