Kate E. Nicholson

Kate E. Nicholson is a partner with Nocholson & Devine LLC in Cambridge, Mass., where she specializes in representing individuals, businesses and bankruptcy trustees in all variety of bankruptcy matters. She is a member of ABI, the Boston Bar Association, the Worcester County Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association. Ms. Nicholson was named an ABI “40 Under 40” honoree in 2017 and a “Top Lawyer” by Boston Magazine in 2023. She was also named a “Rising Star” by Thomson Reuters each year from 2014-19 and a “Super Lawyer” from 2021-23. Ms. Nicholson has presented on a wide range of bankruptcy issues and has written articles and educational materials for the Norton Annual Survey of Bankruptcy Law, the Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education and ABI. She also taught legal research and writing at Boston University School of Law for several years. Ms. Nicholson received her B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.
