Leslie Behaunek

Leslie C. Behaunek is a shareholder with Nyemaster Goode P.C. and a member of its LitigationDepartment in Des Moines, Iowa, where her practice includes business and commercial litigation, financial institution and bankruptcy litigation, employment law, insurance defense and appellate advocacy. Before joining the firm, she clerked for Hon. Jane Kelly on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and Hon. James E. Gritzner on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District ofIowa. Ms. Behaunek currently chairs the Iowa State Bar Association’s Federal Practice Committee, is a member of the IWIRC Midwest Network, and has been actively involved in state and federal bar association committees throughout her career. She received her B.A. summa cum laude with honors from Cornell College and her J.D. with highest honors from Drake University.
