Carmel King

Carmel King is a member of Grant Thornton UK’s Insolvency and Asset Recovery Team in London and<br>co-chairs INSOL Europe’s Anti-Fraud Forum. She has more than 13 years of experience in the field of fraud investigations, asset-tracing and recovery, and contentious insolvency. Ms. King has experience in complex contentious insolvency appointments, as well as the investigation of corruption and the misappropriation of assets across different jurisdictions. She focuses on cases that involve the gathering of evidence used for the most part in civil litigation for the purpose of recovering misappropriated funds and assets. She also has published a number of articles on fraud and asset recovery. Ms. King has experience working in the public and private sectors, having taken instruction from government departments<br>and local authorities in the U.K., non-U.K. governments and international companies.
