Charissa Potts

Charissa Potts is principal attorney with consumer bankruptcy-focused firm Freedom Law, PC in East-pointe, Mich., which she formed in 2014. She served on the Sixth Circuit Merit Selection Panel and is board-certified by the American Board of Certification. Ms. Potts is a 2019 honoree of ABI’s “40 Under 40”Program. She received her B.A. in philosophy and political science with honors in 2003 from Wayne StateUniversity, and her J.D. in 2006 from Wayne State University Law School, following which she interned for Federal Magistrate Judge R. Steven Whalen of the Eastern District of Michigan.
