Rachael Reynolds
Rachael Reynolds is the global head of Dispute Resolution at Ogier in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, and specializes in contentious restructuring and insolvency and commercial disputes. She also has considerable expertise in contentious trust matters and fund disputes. Ms. Reynolds’s practice regularly involves fraud and international asset-tracing claims, and she is often asked to give expert opinions for use in foreign court proceedings. Recently, she led the award-winning team advising the provisional liquidators on the contested restructuring of Ocean Rig, the largest Cayman Islands restructuring and one of the largest globally involving a scheme of arrangement comprising $4bn of debt. Ms. Reynolds is regularly invited to speak and chair key industry events. Most recently, she chaired the International<br>Trusts in Litigation Conference in Iceland and has spoken at the Transcontinental Trusts International Forum in Bermuda and the STEP Cayman Islands Conference. Previously, Ms. Reynolds practiced with Clyde & Co. in London and at the English Bar. She received her B.A. in jurisprudence from Oxford University in the U.K. in 1998 and completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in London in 1999.
