Robert Allan Kors

Robert A. Kors is a founding principal of Castellammare Advisors, LLC in Pacific Palisades, Calif., where he focuses on complex workout and insolvency matters. He has spent much of the past decade serving as a post-bankruptcy trustee, notably as post-confirmation trustee for Fleming Companies (D. Del.) and as litigation trustee for the Woodside Homes Litigation Trust (C.D. Cal.). He has also served as an independent director for several bankrupt/insolvent companies, including Stations Casinos-Propco (D. Nev.), and has worked in a variety of other roles on behalf of stakeholders in distressed enterprises. Prior to forming Castellammare Advisors in 2004, Mr. Kors spent approximately 10 years as CAO and CFO of a Los Angeles-based private holding company with more than $1 billion in annual revenues, and was a partner in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School) and Stanford Law School.
