Peter B. Zlotnick is a partner with Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP in New York in its Litigation PracticeGroup, and he co-chairs the firm’s Real Estate Condominium and Cooperative Practice Group. He has more than 25 years of experience focusing his practice on real estate matters and complex construction defect litigation, as well as complex commercial and health care disputes. Mr. Zlotnick’s clients include commercial and residential real estate developers, co-op and condominium boards, design professionals, for-profit and nonprofit business entities, private-equity firms and high-net-worth individuals. He also litigates corporate governance, business torts, tax, bankruptcy and other types of business disputes, and he serves as a federal equity receiver and public fiduciary in consumer fraud and related federal equity receiverships brought by the Federal Trade Commission, the Commodity Futures Trade Commission and other federal regulatory agencies. Mr. Zlotnick is admitted to practice in New York as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. He is a member of theReal Estate and Business Law Sections of the American Bar Association, as well as a member of theNew York State Bar Association’s Business Litigation Committee, and he has served as a member of theConstruction Law Committee and Green Building Sub-Committee of the Association of the Bar of theCity of New York. In addition, Mr. Zlotnick is co-chair of the Regulatory Sub-Committee and a member of the Amicus and Best Practices Committees of the National Association of Federal Equity Receivers.He has been listed in New York Super Lawyers annually since 2015. Mr. Zlotnick received his B.A. with honors from Colgate University, his M.P.P. from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, and his J.D. from Yeshiva University’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
