Rita Gismondi

Rita Gismondi is a senior associate with Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners in Rome and focuses her practice on commercial and insolvency law, company crisis and turnaround, and other relevant litigation, handling such restructuring transactions as the administration proceedings of the Parmalat group companies. From 1997-2003, she worked in other law firms. Ms. Gismondi has authored various publications and articles in corporate and insolvency law. She is a frequent lecturer in insolvency law, company crisis and international commercial contracts, both at “Roma Tre” University and Luiss “Guido Carli” University. Ms. Gismondi is a member of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation, the European Network Board and INSOL. She has been a member of the Rome BarAssociation since 2000. Ms. Gismondi received her law degree maxima cum laude from the University Luiss “Guido Carli” of Rome in 1997, after which she began ongoing collaboration and research activity with the Law faculty of “Roma Tre” University.
