Alexander Terras

Alexander Terras is a partner with Reed Smith LLP's Financial Industry Group in Chicago, where he focuses his practice on commercial restructuring and bankruptcy, particularly insolvency, corporate finance and general business transactions. He represents commercial finance companies and banks in portfolio administration matters, including workouts, insolvency, litigation, loan documentation, due diligence, risk management and accounting standards compliance. Mr. Terras has served as first chair in several jury trials and more than 40 bench trials, and as lender's lead counsel in closing more than 100 substantial transactions. He also speaks regularly on a variety of finance issues. Mr. Terras received his  J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
