J. Christopher Shore

J. Christopher Shore is a partner in the New York office of White & Case LLP, where he represents clients in high-stakes litigation in complex business disputes, largely arising from debtor/creditor re- lations. He has more than 20 years of experience practicing before bankruptcy courts throughout the U.S., as well as federal district and state trial courts, arbitral bodies and appellate courts. Mr. Shore has been involved in such cases as Energy Future Holdings, Residential Capital, Dynegy, Lehman Brothers, Delphi, Dana, Six Flags, Mirant Corp., Adelphia Communications and Enron Corp. He has also been instrumental in many of the largest cross-border cases filed in the U.S., including those of UPC, Vitro Packaging, Elpida Memory and Rede Energia. Mr. Shore has represented a diverse array of clients, in- cluding debtors, foreign representatives, secured and unsecured creditors, creditors' committees and ad hoc groups of secured and unsecured creditors. He has conducted dozens of bench and jury trials, and has been actively involved in many of the landmark judicial decisions in recent restructuring jurispru- dence. Mr. Shore is admitted to the Bars of Rhode Island and New York State, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second, Fifth and Federal Circuits, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He received his B.A. from Brown University and his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
