Kimberly A. Pierro

Kimberly A. Pierro is senior vice president and assistant general counsel for Truist Bank in Richmond,Va., and manages a team in the Truist Litigation Practice Group, formed after the merger of SunTrustBank and Branch Banking & Trust in December 2019. Prior to coming in-house in 2012, Ms. Pierro practiced both commercial workouts and bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, representing financial institutions, chapter 11 debtors and chapter 7 trustees in a variety of cases while an attorney with Kutak Rock,LLP in Richmond. In addition, she was an adjunct professor of legal skills for two years, and she served two terms on the Virginia State Bar MCLE Board. Ms. Pierro received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from William & Mary School of Law.
