Michelle M. McGreal

Michelle M. McGreal is a partner in the Banking and Finance practice of Clifford Chance US LLP in New York, where she specializes in restructuring and bankruptcy. She represents creditors, debtors, agent banks, lenders and other strategic parties in a wide range of corporate restructurings, including traditional bankruptcies, out-of-court workouts and financing transactions. Ms. McGreal is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She is the former chair and now a member of the Eastern District of New York’s Chapter 11 Lawyers’ Advisory Committee. Prior to practicing, Ms. McGreal clerked for Hon. Stuart M. Bernstein of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York from 2007-09. She received her B.S. magna cum laude in sport management from Ithaca College in 2004 and her J.D. magna cum laude in 2007 from Hofstra University School of Law.
