Linc A. Rogers
Linc A. Rogers is a partner with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in Toronto, where his practice focuses on complex corporate reorganizations, financial restructurings, distressed M&A and debtor-inpossession financings. He is experienced in cross-border matters, and his clients include leading international private-equity and hedge funds, large foreign and domestic commercial lenders, multi-national corporations, and prominent financial advisory firms acting in various court-appointed capacities. Mr. Rogers has been an advisor on a number of significant cross-border and domestic matters and has extensive experience in a wide variety of industry sectors, including mining, aeronautics, automotive, retail, manufacturing, high-tech, financial services, and oil and gas. He has published extensively in scholarly journals and trade publications for almost two decades and sits on the editorial advisory board of the Annual Review of Insolvency Law, Canada’s leading insolvency law publication. In addition to speaking extensively on a variety of insolvency law topics, many of Mr. Rogers’ speaking engagements address diversity issues in the legal profession, and he has been recognized for his pioneering accomplishments in this area. He is a member of the firm’s Legal Personnel Committee. Mr. Rogers received his B.A. in political science in 1994 from the University of Alberta, his M.A. in international affairs in 1998 from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and his LL.B. magna cum laude in 1998 from the University of Ottawa.
