Stephen R. Leslie is a shareholder with Stichter, Riedel, Blain & Postler, PA in Tampa, Fla., where he advises clients on restructuring and deleveraging. He also heads the firm's Ft. Myers office. Mr. Leslie has acted as lead chapter 11 or workout counsel in matters involving hundreds of millions of dollars in assets spanning marinas, condominium projects of various types, condotel projects, hotels, self-storage facilities, general contractors, construction companies, motorcycle retailers, trucking companies, block and concrete manufacturers, furniture manufacturing, window and construction component manufactur- ing, farming operations of various types including citrus, real estate developers, apartment complexes, aerospace concerns and defense contractors, design firms, medical and dental manufacturing and sales concerns, national carnival operators, diamond retailers, clothing retailers, auto repair retailers, retail strip centers, home accessory retailers, open-cast mining concerns, and several different types of restau- rant chains. He has also represented lenders and creditors' committees in multiple chapter 11 cases. Mr. Leslie is admitted to practice in Florida and North Carolina and before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Northern and Southern Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Cir- cuit. He is listed as a Florida "Super Lawyer" in the area of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Practice in Su- per Lawyers Magazine, in the "Legal 500" Finance, Bankruptcy South Section, in the 2009-15 editions of Chambers & Partners in the area of Insolvency Practice in Florida, in the 2012-15 editions of The Best Lawyers in America for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights, Insolvency and Reorganization Law, and in Tampa Bay's Best Lawyers. Mr. Leslie received his B.S.B.A. from the University of South Florida in 1990 and his J.D. cum laude in 1993 from Stetson University College of Law.
