Morrie Rutman

Morrie Rutman, CPA is a partner with Richter Consulting, Inc. in Chicago, where he specializes in business restructurings and financial advisory services. Over the course of his career, he has served as advisor to numerous companies and lender groups, particularly in the manufacturing, distribution, transportation and automotive, retail, consumer products and service industries. Mr. Rutman's signifi- cant experience in financial and operational consulting advisory services includes assessing short-term liquidity; developing business plans, strategic plans, reporting systems, and reliable forecasting models; and identifying profitability-improvement opportunities such as plant consolidation and overhead reduc- tions, as well as customer and product performance. He has lectured at turnaround conferences and is often called upon to speak at major financial institutions and equity sponsors on topics such as liquidity assessments and restructuring. A member of the Turnaround Management Association, Mr. Rutman re- ceived his Master's in accounting from McGill University.
