Raj Apte

Raj Apte is senior managing director and European Coverage leader with Teneo’s Financial Advisory business in London. He has more than 24 years of restructuring experience advising global corporates, creditors and shareholders across numerous jurisdictions in Europe, and he is primarily focused on large and complex restructuring projects. Mr. Apte’s experience spans a wide variety of sectors, including aviation, consumer, construction, manufacturing, energy and retail. Before joining Teneo, he was a partner and head of Restructuring for Central and Southeast Europe and CIS(CESA) at EY. Prior to that, he was an investment banker at Lazard and at Morgan Stanley. Mr.Apte received his LL.B. with honors in English and German law from the University of Liverpool in 1996, his LPC with distinction in 1997 from The College of Law, and his LL.M. in German law in 1998 summa cum laude and with distinction from the University of Münster, and he holds a CISILevel 3 Certificate in Investments from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
