Kyle J. Mathews
Kyle J. Mathews is a partner in the Finance and Bankruptcy Practice Group in Sheppard Mullin’s Los Angeles office, where he specializes in asset-based lending, defaulted loan workouts, secured creditor remedies enforcement (e.g., Article 9 public and private sales and receiverships) and bankruptcy. He is chair of the Loan Workouts Subcommittee of the Commercial Finance Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association and co-chair of the Business Law Section’s Programs,<br>Commercial Finance Committee. He is also a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and a Fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers. Mr. Mathews has been listed in the 2019 edition of The Best Lawyers in America and has been listed as a “Southern California Rising Star” in Super Lawyers in 2008 and from 2010-16. He received his B.A. magna cum laude in 1998 from the University of Southern California and his J.D. in 2001 from the University of Southern California,<br>where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and co-executive editor of its law review.
