Richard Andrews

Hon. Richard Andrews is a U.S. District Judge for the District of Delaware in Wilmington, appointed in 2011. Prior to taking the bench, he was the state prosecutor for Delaware from 2007-11 and assistant U.S. attorney from 1983-2007, In addition, he clerked for Hon. Collins J. Seitz, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, from 1981-82. Judge Andrews has presided over nearly 150 bankruptcy appeals. He received his B.A. in political science in 1977 and his J.D. in 1981 from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law.<br>
