Michael M. Korybut

Michael Korybut is a professor of law at St. Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, where he teaches in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial transactions and secured transactions and his principal scholarship focuses on secured transactions. Since joining the SLU Law faculty, he has received its Best Teacher of the Year award twice. He was also awarded the Thompson Coburn Award for Exceptional Faculty Scholarship. Previously, Prof. Korybut was an associate attorney with Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe in San Francisco and with Gray, Cary, Ware and Friedenrich in Palo Alto, Calif. At both firms, he represented lending institutions and corporate borrowers. He then taught at Stanford Law School and Santa Clara University Law School. Prof. Korybut received his J.D. from Stanford Law School.
