Sean Allen

Sean Allen, CFA, CPA, CIRA is a senior manager with Ernst & Young’s Restructuring Advisory Services group in New York, where he works with clients to solve financial and operational performance issues. He has more than 15 years of corporate finance and capital markets experience, and his core experience is in advising companies on operational turnarounds, business plan development, working-capital management and liquidity forecasting, both out of court and during chapter 11 reorganizations. Mr. Allen’s representative cross-border deals include strategic alternatives advisory of the domestic power and utilities division of an Asian manufacturer; the chapter 11 reorganization of Athens-based Aegean Marine Petroleum Network Inc., the largest independent marine fuel supplier with operations in 20 countries; strategic alternatives advisory of the domestic subsidiary of a German alternative energy company; supporting the CRO of Stillwater Offshore Asset Backed Offshore Fund, Ltd., a Cayman Islands offshore investment company, during its chapter 11; and supporting the trustee of Waste2Energy Holdings Inc. during its chapter 11, as well as other supply chain and operations consulting with large multinational corporations operating in multiple jurisdictions. Previously, he was vice chairman of the Financial Reorganizations Committee of the New York State Society of CPAs. Mr. Allen received his B.S.B.A. from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business.
