Thomas L. Perkins

Thomas L. Perkins is a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of Illinois in Peoria, ap- pointed on July 20, 2000. He served as Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of Illinois from 2006-12. Previously, Judge Perkins practiced law in Peoria for 16 years with three different law firms, specializing in the areas of bankruptcy and commercial law. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa and received his J.D. from Indiana University School of Law.
