Mary K. Viegelahn
Mary K. Viegelahn is the Standing Chapter 12 and 13 Trustee for in San Antonio and has 31 years of experience in insolvency-related matters, with 10 years in private practice representing chapter 11 debt-ors, creditors, unsecured creditors’ committees and chapter 11 trustees. She also has represented chapter12 and 13 debtors and creditors; chapter 7 debtors, creditors and trustees; and debtors in IRS insolvency matters. Ms. Viegelahn has been a chapter 13 trustee since 2000 beginning in Kalamazoo, Lansing andGrand Rapids, Mich. She was appointed chapter 12 and chapter 13 trustee in San Antonio in 2010. Ms.Viegelahn is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Courts for the Western District ofMichigan and the Western District of Texas; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Sixth and SeventhCircuits; and the State Bar of Michigan. She is currently the president-elect for the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees, has served as an editor for professional publications, and is a frequent speaker and author for various professional organizations. Ms. Viegelahn received her B.S. in 1983 from CentralMichigan University and her J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1989.
