Kyle Kyle Everett

A. Kyle Everett is a vice president and the general manager of the San Francisco office of Development Specialists, Inc., where he consults with debtors and both secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy, turnaround and workout assignments. He has been involved in a number of significant engagements both in and out of court and has been a financial consultant in insolvency and litigation matters for nearly 30 years. Mr. Everett has significant accounting experience, including as a fiduciary and forensic accountant, and in advising clients on restructuring businesses. He has acted as a state and federal court receiver, a chapter 7 and chapter 11 trustee, a post-judgment receiver, an examiner, a creditors' trust trustee, a liquidator, a chief restructuring officer and a disbursing agent. He also has testified as an expert in state court, bankruptcy court and arbitration. Mr. Everett was a partner in a local financial consulting firm before joining DSI in 2002. He is a California certified public accountant, a member of ABI and the California Bankruptcy Forum, and is a past president of both the Bay Area chapter and the state chapter of the California Receivers Forum. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA) and the Association of Insolvency & Reorganization Advisors (AIRA). Mr. Everett received his B.S. in business administration from California State University at Northridge in 1981.
