Hon. Charles E. Sketch Rendlen

Hon. Charles E. “Sketch” Rendlen, III is a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Missouri in St. Louis, appointed to a 14-year term on May 23, 2006. He was also appointed as a pro tem member of the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel in August 2010 and served as a member of the Eighth Circuit Judicial Council. Judge Rendlen previously was in private practice as a litigator for 28 years and served as the firm’s managing partner for 13 years. In June 2003, he was appointed by the Attorney General to serve as a U.S. Trustee for Region 13, which is comprised of Arkansas, Missouri and Nebraska. Judge Rendlen<br>graduated magna cum laude from William Jewell College in 1972 and received his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1976.
