Timothy J. Sierra

Timothy J. Sierra is a consumer bankruptcy attorney in Tampa, Fla., where he represents chapter 7 and 13 debtors and has expanded his practice to include student loan law and fair debt collection. He has been practicing law in Florida for more than 25 years. Mr. Sierra is a member of the Hillsborough Coun- ty Bar Association, the Florida Bar Business Law Section, the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. He authored a chapter in Inside the Minds, Chapter 7 Consumer Bankruptcy Strategies (Thomson Reuters/Aspatore, 2013) entitled, "The Initial Consultation — Evaluating and Analyzing a Chapter 7 Case: Best Legal Strategies for Chapter 7         Cases." Mr. Sierra currently serves as a director on the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Board. He received his J.D. in 1987 from Indiana University School of Law.
