Arif Y. Gangat

Arif Y. Gangat is with Cross Sound Management LLC in Wilton, Conn., and specializes in distressed- debt investments outside the U.S. He has more than 20 years of experience in distressed and equity special situations. Mr. Gangat was previously a managing director at Octavian Advisors and Southpaw Asset Management LP, where he managed distressed-debt and special-situations equity securities. He was also a managing director at Sandell Asset Management Corp and has been a director of Texas Petro- chemicals LP since July 14, 2004, as well as an audit committee chairman. From 1996-2002, Mr. Gangat served as a research analyst for several private investment partnerships.
