Paul N. DeBaillon

Paul N. DeBaillon is a member of DeBaillon & Miley in Lafayette, La. He was appointed to the panel of chapter 7 trustees in 1987 and has since served as a panel member for the Western District of Louisi- ana, Lafayette Division. He has also served as successor trustee in more than 600 chapter 7 cases in the Eastern District of Louisiana and as receiver and liquidator in numerous Louisiana state court proceed- ings. Mr. DeBaillon is a former president of the Southwest Louisiana Bankruptcy Bar Association and has served on the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees' board of directors. He was nominated for the Director of the Executive Office of the U.S. Trustees' 2003 Directors Award and has been named a Louisiana Superlawyer in bankruptcy since 2007. He received his B.S. in psychology from the Uni- versity of Southwestern Louisiana in 1977 and his J.D. from Loyola University School of Law in 1981.
