Join ABI Editor-at-Large Bill Rochelle as he hosts a panel of bankruptcy judges to discuss circuit splits on important bankruptcy issues. Back again from the Annual Spring Meeting, this attendee-favorite panel will be presented in a fun game show format, where judges will vote to resolve the issues before they reach the U.S. Supreme Court.

What are the hottest topics in bankruptcy law? This panel of experts, moderated by ABI Editor-at-Large Bill Rochelle, will discuss and analyze current business and consumer bankruptcy law cases.

This panel will focus on drafting skills for bankruptcy and restructuring attorneys. It is intended to provide a practical “how to” discussion and analysis of negotiating and drafting chapter 11 sale documents and pleadings, including asset-purchase agreements, bid-procedure motions and orders, sale motions and orders, and related documents. The session will also provide form documents and discuss heavily negotiated or scrutinized provisions.

This panel will discuss exclusive and non-exclusive IP licenses and executory contract assumption as well as the assignment of IP Licenses, security interests in IP Licenses and a case study regarding the valuation and marketing of IP in the context of insolvency or forced sales.

Join us for a discussion on hot topics and recent developments in chapter 11, including circuit splits, cross-border protocols, local rules and recent Supreme Court decisions.
