Steven M. Notinger is the owner of Notinger Law, PLLC in Nashua, N.H., and has more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of bankruptcy, general business and insolvency matters. He is recognized as one of New Hampshire’s top attorneys in business and bankruptcy matters, including chapter 11 reorganization, general business representation, debtor/creditor matters, director and officer liability and<br>insolvency-related tax disputes, both in court and through out-of-court workouts. He has also served as a state court receiver in various disputes. Mr. Notinger has both represented trustees in bankruptcy and been on the client side as a bankruptcy trustee himself. He also has experience representing clients in disputes with taxing authorities, including the IRS and NHDRA. Mr. Notinger has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America from 2007-16 and New England Super Lawyers in 2008 and from 2011-15, and was selected by Best Lawyers as 2014 Manchester “Lawyer of the Year” in Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law and as New Hampshire Trustee of the Year in 2001. He is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of New Hampshire and Massachusetts and the U.S. Tax Court. Mr. Notinger received his B.A. magna cum laude in 1986 from the University of New York at Albany and his J.D. in 1990 from<br>Boston University Law School, where he was a finalist in the Moot Court competition and an Edward F. Hennessey scholar.
