Shelley A. Kinsella

Shelley A. Kinsella is the managing shareholder with Elliott Greeleaf in Wilmington, Del., where she focuses her practice on bankruptcy, commercial litigation and employment law. She has experience in complex chapter 11 reorganization and liquidation cases, and practices in many aspects of bankruptcy, representing debtors, unsecured creditors' committees, equity committees, trustees, and secured and unsecured creditors. Ms. Kinsella represents reorganized debtors, committees and trusts in bankruptcy related litigation, including preference and fraudulent conveyance actions. She is also currently involved in bankruptcy litigation for large corporate entities, including director and officer liability matters. Ms. Kinsella is a mediator for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and completed ABI's Mediation Training Program, held each year at St. John's University. She is admitted to the Delaware Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, and she is an active member of the Dela- ware Bankruptcy and Rodney Inns of Court, the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation, ABI and the American Bar Association. In addition, she is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a Six Sigma Green Belt. Ms. Kinsella received her B.A. with honors in political science with a minor in English from the University of California, Irvine, and her J.D. from Loyola Law School  - Los Angeles, where she was a member of its moot court and an ABA national finalist. She was also senior articles editor for the Entertainment Law Review.
