Robert K. Sahyan

Robert K. Sahyan is a senior associate in the Finance & Insolvency Practice Group of Sheppard, Mul- lin, Richter & Hampton LLP in San Francisco, where he focuses his practice on business bankruptcies, out-of-court restructurings and other insolvency matters. He counsels various parties in such matters in a wide range of industries, including real estate, retail, tech, manufacturing, media, hospitality, and food and beverage. Mr. Sahyan's representations include debtors-in-possession, creditors' and equity- holders' committees, trustees, lenders and other creditors, and purchasers of assets out of bankruptcy. He also has significant experience representing lenders in commercial lending transactions. Mr. Sahyan is a graduate of the California State University at Fullerton and received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he was a member of the Hastings Business Law Journal. He also holds a Licentiate in Law degree from the University of Damascus (Syria).
