Robert C. Maddox
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Robert C. Maddox</strong> is counsel at Richards, Layton & Finger, PA in Wilmington, Del., where he focuses his practice on corporate bankruptcy and restructuring, with an emphasis on bankruptcy litigation and contested matters. While in law school, he served as the president of his class and as a member of the University of Maryland Moot Court Board. He also completed internships with Hon. Lynne A. Battaglia in the Maryland Court of Appeals and with the United States Environmental Protection Agency Office of General Counsel. Mr. Maddox has been listed in <em>The Best Lawyers in America</em> as one of its “Ones to Watch” since 2021. He received his B.A. in psychology in 2001 from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and his J.D. <em>magna cum laude</em> in 2009 from the University of Maryland School of Law, where he was admitted to the Order of the Coif.</p>
