Peter Haukebo
J. Peter Haukebo is a director and tax attorney at Frost Law in Annapolis, Md., and concentrates his practice in the areas of tax controversy and planning and business transactions. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, he practiced at Chaney | Haukebo LLP. From 2013-19, Mr. Haukebo served as an adjunct professor of law in the Low Income Taxpayer Clinic at the University of Maryland Francis King CareySchool of Law. He has been a member of the MSBA’s Taxation Section Council since 2015, and currently serves as the Council’s secretary. Mr. Haukebo is admitted to practice before the Maryland Court<br>of Appeals, the Federal District Court for the District of Maryland, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for theDistrict of Maryland, and the U.S. Tax Court. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association’sTaxation Section Council and Business Section Council, and the American and Anne Arundel CountyBar Associations. He also is a former chair of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Legislation Committee and a board member of the CASH Campaign of Maryland. Mr. Haukebo received his B.A. magna cum laude from Miami University of Ohio and his J.D. cum laude from the University of MarylandSchool of Law.
