Nicholas P. Leone

Nicholas P. Leone is a partner with PJT Partners in New York, an investment banking boutique formed in 2015 from the corporate advisory businesses of The Blackstone Group. He has spent 30 years advising companies in a wide range of activities, including corporate restructurings, capital-raising, and mergers and acquisitions. Following tenures at Drexel Burnham in the late 1980s and Salomon Brothers in the early 1990s, Mr. Leone joined Blackstone in 1995 to focus on advising distressed companies. For more<br>than 20 years at Blackstone, he specialized in advising corporate management teams and directors on<br>capital-structure alternatives, financing alternatives and strategic transactions. His experience includes<br>representing companies in dozens of industries located across the globe. Mr. Leone has been designated<br>an expert in corporate valuation, capital-raising and restructuring by bankruptcy courts and judges. He<br>received his B.A. from Columbia College and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, and in 2015 he received Columbia’s John Jay Award for distinguished professional achievement.
