Nicholas J. Shaw

Nicholas J. Shaw is a partner in the Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s Corporate Department in London, where he represents private-equity sponsors and banks in capital markets and acquisition finance trans-actions. His private-equity financing experience includes numerous representations for sponsors such asKKR, Apax and Blackstone and their portfolio companies. Mr. Shaw received his B.A. (Jur.) from theUniversity of Adelaide in 1991, his LL.B.(Hons.) from the University of Adelaide Law School in 1994, his LL.M.(Comm.) from the University of Adelaide Law School in 1997 and his LL.M. from ColumbiaUniversity School of Law in 1997, where he was a James Kent Scholar.
