Nancy H. Michels

Nancy H. Michels is a partner with Parnell, Michels & McKay, PLLC, in Londonderry, N.H., and was previously a partner with Michels & Michels in Londonderry, which she founded with her late husband, John Michels. Ms. Michels has been representing debtors in consumer bankruptcy matters for more than 30 years. She also represents creditors in chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcies and was a chapter 7 trustee in several cases. Ms. Michels was a former chapter 13 trustee for the District of New Hampshire and has been admitted to practice before the First Circuit Court of Appeals. She has been a frequent lecturer on consumer bankruptcy matters for the New Hampshire Bar Association, Lorman and NBI and was previ- ously a panelist for ABI. Ms. Michels received her B.S. in management engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1969, her M.B.A. from Harvard University in 1971 and her J.D. from Suffolk University in 1979.
