Mr. Robert M. Charles
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Robert M. Charles, Jr.</strong> is a partner at Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP in Tucson, Ariz., and has been with the firm and its predecessors for decades. He is admitted to practice in Arizona and Nevada. Mr. Charles is a Fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy and teaches at the James E. Rogers College of Law in Tucson. He is a past chair of the State Bar of Arizona Committee on Rules of Professional Conduct, and he served as a member of the Arizona Bar’s Ethics Committee for many years. Mr. Charles lectures and writes extensively on bankruptcy law and legal ethics. He is a member of ABI and has served on the advisory board for its Southwest Bankruptcy Conference, and he also was a member of ABI’s National Ethics Task Force. Mr. Charles previously clerked for Hon. Earl H. Carroll of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. He received his B.A. from the University of Arizona in 1979 and his J.D. with distinction from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in 1982.</p>
