Mr. Lucian Murley
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Lucian Murley</strong> is a partner with Saul Ewing LLP in Wilmington, Del. He has experience representing debtors, committees, acquirers, fiduciaries and other significant parties in interest in complex reorganizations and financially distressed situations, both in and out of court. Mr. Murley regularly advises financially healthy businesses that find themselves creditors in chapter 11 cases. He has represented creditors serving on official committees in recent chapter 11 cases such as Alpha Media Holdings LLC and Extraction Oil & Gas, Inc. Mr. Murley has been named in <em>The Best Lawyers in America</em> list for Bankruptcy Litigation since 2023, and he is a court-appointed mediator for Delaware. He has defended firm clients in over 130 avoidance actions, an aggregate total of over $280 million in alleged transfers. Mr. Murley received his B.Mus. in 1998 from Northwestern Universty and his J.D. in 2004 from the University of Kentucky School of Law, where he served as managing editor of the <em>Kentucky Law Journal</em> editorial board and received the Stoll, Keenon & Park <em>Kentucky Law Journal</em> Outstanding Service Award.</p>
