Mona L. Burton

Mona L. Burton is a partner with the firm of Holland & Hart LLP in Salt Lake City and has more than 35 years of experience representing all major stakeholders in bankruptcy cases and creditors rights litigation, including secured and unsecured creditors, asset-purchasers, debtors, committees, trustees and receivers. Her work spans across many industries, including real estate, technology, telecommunications, mining, oil and gas, manufacturing, transportation, retail, health and retire- ment care, and agriculture. Ms. Burton is a Fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy and has been recognized by Utah Business Magazine, The Best Lawyers in America, Mountain States Super Lawyers and Mountain States Magazine. She is a founding member of the Utah Bankruptcy Law- yers Forum, a member of ABI and the Utah State Bar's Character and Fitness Committee, a past member of the Utah State Bar's Ethics Advisory Opinion Committee, and a member of the Turn- around Management Association and American Bar Association. Ms. Burton received her B.S. with honors from the University of Texas and her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Houston.
