Michael L. Schuster is Counsel at Polsinelli PC, where he focuses his practice on bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors’ rights and business litigation. His bankruptcy experience includes representation of lenders, landlords, financial institutions, distressed businesses, and trustees in business and consumer cases under all chapters of the Bankruptcy Code. Mr. Schuster’s litigation experience also includes secured transactions, landlord/tenant disputes, breaches of fiduciary duty, insurance coverage and consumer protection. He has participated in numerous bench and jury trials in both federal and state courts. Previously, Mr. Schuster practiced with a prestigious regional firm in Miami, Florida. He is licensed in both Colorado and Florida, and he routinely handles matters for Florida-based litigants. He has been listed as a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” and a Florida Legal Elite Rising Star, and is rated AV-Preeminent Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Schuster received his B.S. cum laude in 2005 from the University of Florida College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and his J.D. cum laude in 2008 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was admitted to the Order of the Coif and the Order of Barristers.
