Matthew J. Wrysinski

Matthew J. Wrysinski is a partner at Alston & Bird in Los Angeles and co-chairs its Finance Group.He focuses his practice on the representation of private-equity funds and their portfolio companies, as well as commercial banks, finance companies and other commercial lenders in various types of secured and unsecured financings (including revolving credit and term credit facilities, senior, subordinate, second lien, mezzanine and other working capital facilities). Mr. Wrysinski has participated in asset based credit facilities, acquisition financings, debtor-in-possession financings, debt-restructurings and work-outs in single- and multiple-borrower, single-lender, agented and participated syndication arrangements involving a variety of commercial enterprises. These have included companies performing traditional manufacturing and distribution roles, as well as those in a wide variety of specialty industries. In addition, he focuses on representations in bankruptcies and other insolvency proceedings. Mr. Wrysinski is featured as one of the leading California lawyers for banking and finance in Chambers USA: America’sLeading Lawyers for Business. He also was honored as a visionary in the inaugural L.A. Times Bank-ing and Finance magazine. Mr. Wrysinski received his B.A. in 1999 from the University of California,Santa Barbara and his J.D. in 2002 from UCLA.
