Matthew D. Skeen

Matthew D. Skeen, CPA is a partner in the family-owned law firm of Skeen & Skeen, P.C. in George- town, Colo., has served as trustee, and represents debtors, creditors and trustees in all areas of bank- ruptcy practice. He joined the U.S. Army upon graduation from law school and successfully completed Officer Candidate School, was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in Field Artillery, was stationed at Fort Carson and completed a tour of duty in the Republic of Vietnam. Mr. Skeen is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of Colorado and before the U.S. Supreme Court. He received his B.S. in accounting from the University of Colorado School of Business in 1969 and his J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1975, where he served as editor-in-chief of the University of Colorado Law Review. Upon graduation, he clerked for Hon. Robert H. McWilliams of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
