Matthew C. Rodrigue
Matthew Rodrigue is a managing director of Miller Buckfire & Co. LLC in New York, where he specializes in restructuring and complex leveraged-finance situations. Since joining Miller Buckfire, his experience includes representing equity owners and sponsors, debtors, official creditors’ committees and ad hoc creditors’ committees across a range of in-court and out-of-court restructurings and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Rodrigue’s practice includes representing clients in both private and public finance. Among other matters, he recently represented the first-lien noteholders in the restructuring of Caesars<br>Entertainment Operating Corp. and the Senior COFINA Ad Hoc Group in the restructuring of Puerto Rico’s public debt. Mr. Rodrigue has written on the topics of secured creditors’ rights, and his work has been published in the Bond Buyer, The Wall Street Journal and Forbes, among others. He is a recipient of The M&A Advisor’s Emerging Leaders Award and was named a “Rising Dealmaker” by M&A Global Network. Mr. Rodrigue received his B.S.s in computer engineering and electrical engineering, both from the University of Maine, and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the University of Maine’s Board of Visitors.
