Maria L. Oxholm

Hon. Maria L. Oxholm is a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan in Detroit, appointed Aug. 18, 2016. She was previously a judge in the Third Circuit Court’s Family Division in Michigan from 2002 until her appointment in 2016. Judge Oxholm Oxholm worked as an attorney for the Immigration Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. She then worked as an assistant Wayne County prosecutor for 10 years before becoming a judge.
