Lawrence A. Friedman

Lawrence A. Friedman is a managing member of Friedman Partners LLC in Grayling, Mich., and a former director of the Executive Office for U.S. Trustees from 2002-05. Prior to his appointment as director of the EOUST, he was in private practice and served as a panel trustee in the Eastern District of Michigan, where he administered more than 10,000 bankruptcy cases. At the time of his Justice De- partment appointment, he served as president of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. Mr. Friedman is the founder of the Regulatory Compliance and Government Affairs program at American InfoSource, for which he previously served as general counsel. He received his J.D.from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1984.
