Laurie A. Cayton

Laurie A. Cayton is a trial attorney for the Office of the U.S. Trustee in Salt Lake City. She has been with the U.S. Trustee's Office since 1988 and served as the Assistant U.S. Trustee for nine years, receiving the Director's Award for Management Excellence in 1997. In April 2017, Ms. Cayton became chair of the Bankruptcy Section of the Utah State Bar Association. She has been a frequent speaker at local bankruptcy events and previously presented on a panel related to ethics for ABI's annual Rocky Mountain Bankruptcy Conference. Ms. Cayton received her B.A. in English cum laude from Washington State University in 1975 and her J.D. from the University of Utah in 1985.    B.
